Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Double J Web ("Service Provider," "we," "us") and the Client ("you"). By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.
2. Services & Scope We agree to perform the services described in the agreed-upon proposal or invoice (the "Project"). Any work requested outside this scope will be charged at our standard hourly rate of [£40/hour] or quoted separately.
3. Payments & Deposits

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your spot in our schedule and begin work.

  • Final Payment: The remaining 50% is due upon approval of the final design but before the website goes live or files are delivered.

  • Late Fees: Invoices not paid within 7 days of the due date may incur a late fee of 5%.

4. Intellectual Property & Copyright

  • Upon Full Payment: You own the final visual designs and the text content of your website.

  • Double J Web Rights: We retain the right to display your project in our portfolio and social media for marketing purposes.

  • Tools & Code: We retain ownership of any underlying code libraries, reusable components, or proprietary AI tools used to build your project. You are granted a license to use them for this website only.

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Content: You are responsible for providing all text, images, and credentials (hosting/domain) needed to complete the project.

  • Delays: If the project is stalled for more than 30 days due to a lack of response or content from you, we reserve the right to invoice for work completed and put the project on hold.

6. AI Integration & Liability

  • Third-Party Tools: Our AI integration services rely on third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI, Chatbots). We are not responsible for service outages, policy changes, or costs changes from these third-party platforms.

  • Accuracy: While we optimize AI tools for accuracy, AI models can occasionally produce incorrect or "hallucinated" information. Double J Web is not liable for any errors, misinformation, or offensive content generated by AI tools integrated into your site. You are responsible for monitoring your AI tools.

7. Revisions The project includes 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions beyond this limit will be billed at our hourly rate.
8. Cancellation If you wish to cancel the project after work has begun, the initial deposit remains non-refundable. You will be billed for any hours worked beyond the deposit amount.
